Hi everyone,

Well, I've been really inactive here on DA over the last year, and I've decided it's time to go. I finally returned today after a long absence, only to find the entire site in turmoil. (No, I'm not on anyone's side, as I don't fully understand what's going on.)

Honestly, I don't like where DA has been going for a long time. At first, it was just that I missed the search feature being available (those were the days). But lately, I don't like that the site caters more and more only to people who can pay for new features, or those who are willing to subscribe. I don't like the ads plastered everywhere I look. (I also don't like how ridiculously slow the site has been lately. It frequently crashes my browser o_O) I understand why the site needs financial backing, sure. But I'm not so dependent on DA that I'm personally willing to pay. So I'm going back exclusively to my own domain where I first set up a gallery, and taking this one down.

I guess I'm just a bit disillusioned with online galleries these days. It's understandable, considering that Yerf is essentially dead, and seeing that DA seems to be crumbling. I'm going back to the one-man show and hosting my art exclusively on my own gallery indefinitely.

Anyway, didn't want to make a huge deal out of it - this gallery isn't really watched much anymore, and that's understandable thanks to my lack of updates. ^_~ Mostly, I just wanted to tell anyone who has still been checking this gallery out to please check my homepage for updates from now on:
